“pulling from it, pushing into it, forever”

three panels, two 3’x6’, one 7’x6’. Coloured pencil, solar dye, cyanotype, etching, mezzotint, masa paper, gesso, fake gold, nori paste, grommets, and dirt on canvas.

made during the summer residency i had at the VAV gallery. just one month! i worked on this thing for like six hours every day and eventually got to a point where there wasn’t anything left to do to it.

moving from exterior to interior, a collection of layers and conflicts and reductions.
